Welcome to the Black Nonprofit Chief Executives of Philadelphia (BNCEP). By accessing our website (bncep.org) and participating in our member platform, you agree to comply with the following terms. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, professional, and impactful environment for all Black nonprofit leaders.

Member Conduct & Professionalism

• The Pledge: Members agree to uphold the BNCEP Leadership Pledge, centering community, enhancing leadership, and prioritizing well-being.
• Confidentiality: Our member-only forums and groups are “safe spaces.” Information shared within private groups must remain confidential to protect the integrity of our peers and their organizations.
• Prohibited Content: Users may not post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or intended for unauthorized commercial solicitation outside of designated partnership channels.

Membership Tiers & Access

Access to certain features (Member Directory, Private Groups, Executive Resources) is granted based on your membership tier (Core, Philanthropic, or Capacity Builder). BNCEP reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if these terms or the Leadership Pledge are violated.

Limitation of Liability

BNCEP provides resources and networking opportunities “as is.” While we strive for excellence, we are not liable for any direct or indirect outcomes resulting from the use of our platform or third-party event registrations (e.g., via MEC).

Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

• Profile Data: When you join or take “The Pledge,” we collect your name, organization, email, and professional bio.
• Payment Information: For membership dues or event tickets, payments are processed securely via our third-party providers (e.g., Stripe/PayPal). We do not store full credit card details on our servers.
• Usage Data: We use cookies to improve your experience on our BuddyBoss community platform and to understand how our “Public” vs. “Private” content is being utilized.

How We Use Your Information

• The Member Directory: Your professional profile is visible to other authenticated BNCEP members to facilitate networking, unless you adjust your privacy settings to “Private.”
• Communications: We use your email to send “The Leadership Edge” updates, event invitations, and organizational news. You may opt-out at any time.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information with third-party services essential to our operations (such as our hosting provider, Nexcess, or our email marketing tools) or when required by law.

Your Rights
