The Black Nonprofit Chief Executives of Philadelphia (BNCEP) was founded on June 26, 2020—emerging during COVID‑19 and following the George Floyd tragedy—to answer the urgent need for a dedicated affinity space for Black nonprofit leaders in Philadelphia. What began as a 24-person Zoom circle has grown into a powerful community of nearly 400 CEOs and emerging executives .
We empower Black nonprofit leaders to thrive by creating a community where shared identity is celebrated and supported.
From executive coaching to leadership academies, we equip leaders with the tools to expand their impact.
We amplify Black voices in the nonprofit sector and partner with regional funders and organizations to drive lasting change.
