Kelly Woodland
Kelly’s career has been characterized by a commitment to create access to opportunities and resources for those who have been most impacted by unfair practices. He currently serves as Executive Director, Leadership Equity of United Way of Greater Philadelphia, and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ). In this capacity, Kelly is responsible for developing and leading strategies to support and promote leadership equity among our region’s Black nonprofit leaders. To that end, Kelly leads the Center for Leadership Equity, a centralized hub to offer best-in-class knowledge, programming, resources, advocacy strategies to promote and support nonprofit leadership.
Folasshade Dunbar
As a steward of social impact initiatives, public health advocate, and liberatory leader, Folasshade works to co-create equitable and thriving Black communities. Her life’s work includes designing programs, building coalitions, and positioning organizations to leverage their power to drive transformation in evolving social landscapes. Her work spans public schools, colleges, universities, community-centered organizations, urban gardens and farms; and includes partnership with civic and political leaders. As Chief Joy Officer, she builds organizational infrastructure, leads program design and evaluation, oversees strategic events, fosters member engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Gregory Allen
Gregory J. Allen, Ph.D. is the Founder/CEO of Overbrook West Neighbors (OWN), Inc. Dr. Allen is a lifelong resident of the Overbrook neighborhood of West Philadelphia. He has 30 years of experience delivering on projects that revitalize communities, inspire young people and seniors, and establish stable, affordable housing in low-income communities throughout the region. This includes The Richard Allen Homes, the Cecil B. Moore community and other neighborhoods throughout North Central Philadelphia, Camden, NJ, and Chester, PA.
Zakiyyah Boone
Zakiyyah is the CEO of Wonderspring Early Education, a nonprofit provider of high-quality early childhood education throughout Greater Philadelphia. With more than 20 years of experience, Zakiyyah is an innovative and passionate leader who wholeheartedly believes that education is the best way to eradicate poverty.
Chekemma Fulmore-Townsend, MSW
Chekemma currently serves as the first President of the Hamilton Family Charitable Trust. She is an energetic thought leader with demonstrated results in non-profit management, and transformative philanthropic strategy. Chekemma’s expertise spans many areas, including research, evaluation, capacity building, and grant-making. Her career reflects a deep commitment to services for young people, promoting equity and dismantling the systemic causes of poverty.
Nyne Sellers
President and CEO of Launch of Philadelphia – Ms. Sellers has nearly 25 years of experience managing education and technology programs that require extensive collaboration among community partners.
Malik Brown
In his current role as President and CEO of Graduate Philadelphia, Malik is responsible for advancing the mission of adult degree completion, workforce credentialing, and community empowerment.
Malik is a passionate champion of social and economic mobility for vulnerable populations. His work and impact span multiple industry sectors, including business, philanthropy, workforce development, and higher education.
