About Us

BNCEP is a community of Black nonprofit chief executives and leaders across Greater Philadelphia — dedicated to enriching our leadership, deepening our resources, and amplifying our ability to help residents and organizations thrive.

At the heart of our mission is a simple yet profound principle: supporting organizations led by Black executives benefits everyone. Our focus is on skill development, leadership growth, and nurturing the culture and community that sustains us. In pursuit of these goals, we actively engage in:

  • Building trust and opening doors to resources, funding, and opportunity
  • Cultivating culture, developing professional and personal skills, and driving collective impact
  • Centering well-being — both individual and communal

Together, our members lead organizations that span every neighborhood in Greater Philadelphia, delivering a wide array of services that improve lives, strengthen communities, and build lasting prosperity across our region.
